The Network provides a forum for connection and collaboration across sectors and geographies to advance the practice of large landscape conservation. The Network actively works to ensure that this forum is broad-based, expansive, and inclusive. Growing our partner base is extremely important because:

  • First, the Network becomes more impactful the broader it becomes, as the collective body of knowledge, experience, and inspiration expands as the number and diversity of engaged individuals and organizations grows.
  • And second, a broad-based Network with partners from a diversity of sectors and geographies empowers us all to communicate the importance of and widespread adoption of collaborative landscape conservation as an essential approach to achieving healthy, sustainable communities for people and nature.

We invite you to list your business, organization, collaborative, network, agency, academic institution or other entity as a Partner or Affiliate of the Network for Landscape Conservation.

How to Join

Joining the Network is a voluntary commitment on behalf of an organization. Because collaborating organizations likely face a spectrum of differing constraints, the Network invites organizations to consider two options:

  • Become a Partner – partner status is for those entities that want to actively support and engage in the Network’s efforts to advance the practice of landscape conservation.
  • Become an Affiliate – affiliate status is for those entities that want to be publicly supportive and actively involved in the Network’s work, but may be unable or unwilling to join as a Partner due to agency (or other) restrictions on formal “partner” commitments.

What it Means

Becoming a Partner or an Affiliate simply connects you to like-minded conservation practitioners and commits you to no specific agenda other than general support of conservation at the landscape scale. Partners and Affiliates are listed on our website, and are encouraged to view the Network (both through our website and our bi-monthly Landscape Conservation Bulletin) as a platform to showcase news, events, success stories, and more.
