This paper reinforces the a primary purpose of the California Landscape Stewardship Network (CA Network) – to support the field of existing practice that is already doing great work to advance collaborative stewardship. It is a celebration of the many efforts that California has already undertaken to advance collaborative landscape stewardship. Innovative and forward-looking state efforts have inspired the CA Network to look ahead in partnership with the state, and explore ways to work together to advance collaborative landscape scale approaches even further.
